My students are hardworking, resilient, and full of potential. They are ninth through twelfth graders with specific learning disabilities who come to class each day ready to grow, even when learning feels challenging.
They thrive with structure, encouragement, and hands-on, real-world learning. When given the right tools and environment, they build confidence, independence, and pride in their work. My students celebrate small victories, cheer each other on, and take genuine joy in progress—whether that’s mastering a new skill, staying organized, or completing a task they once avoided.
These students are preparing for life beyond high school. They are learning not just academic skills, but how to be responsible, capable adults. With the right support, they continue to surprise themselves—and everyone around them—with what they can achieve.
