TK and Kindergarten students rely heavily on manipulatives, consumable supplies, and engaging books. I plan to use tokens and playdoh to make more engaging and age appropriate centers for young learners. These tools can help in ELA and math lessons alike. As we transition back into in person learning students need enticing materials to stay engaged.
As we know, teachers handpick and grow our own libraries for our students, I want to center mine with encouraging and culturally relevant books. I want my students to see themselves when they sit down for our morning meetings.
