My students need Wobble Chairs to help their physical and cognitive growth while learning.a The introduction of wobble chairs in the classroom will benefit my students in many ways. Research has shown that the brain learns best and retains most when a student is actively involved in physical activity. Physical activity is linked, not only to better health, but improved focus and higher academic performance.
Flexible seating allows students to move and adjust themselves in a non-disruptive way allowing them to be more attentive in class. The wobble chairs will allow my students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, keeping their minds more alert and focused. This flexible seating option will give children the physical movement they need while allowing them to focus on their task at hand.
