The resources we are requesting are for our students to have a place to safely vent their frustrations without disruption or danger to the other students. Chairs , beanbags and mood squares will help create this zone.
With a "Safe Place" in our school the students will know there is a place to go instead of running through the hallways, destroying property and having school safety get involved. The students will get to go to this safe place and use the items to help talk about their frustrations.
The emotion cards can be their voice and the sensory balls will help them focus their emotions. Each item has a useful purpose.
