My students are all English learners. Drawing pictures, and using hands-on activities are some of the ways that help these students learn and develop their English. Many students cannot afford to purchase school supplies and having it in the class can further support equity. Glue sticks, colored pencils and other art supplies will be used for projects while contact paper will be used to create long-lasting flashcards and posters.
I am excited to bring new materials into my classroom and show students not only how much I care, but how much they are supported by our community. They all deserve access to a thriving and fun classroom space.
