Computers and gaming devices are today's mainstream focus for children out of class. So, why shouldn't we use these devices to get them excited about learning with the same devices. They seem to have an innate ability to pick up and use various types of electronics without hesitation or intervention. Expecting all children the same age to learn from the same old school materials is like expecting all children the same age to wear the same size clothing", by Madeline Hunter". This quote has inspired me to become even more creative in my efforts to teach; as well as, getting parents involved to foster shared teaching at home. Many already have similar devices and should enjoy working with their children with these tools. I am seeking through this joint program; as well as any others I can to utilize the powerful resources in education. I thank you now in assisting our classroom to maximize in our learning efforts.
