My PPCD Deaf Ed students need a light table and manipulatives for our classroom. The light table would be so valuable to all my students but especially to my students who are Deafblind. The light table and manipulatives will help teach basic visual skills as well as more complex visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills.
The light table is a fun and exciting way for my students to view and play with the manipulatives, explore the properties of color and light, while building math, science, and language skills at the same time. It is also a perfect way for my students to practice counting and color combinations.
