I teach some inspiring young people at Concord High School. My students range in age from 14 to 22 years old. They have a wide variety of interests but every single student has a great sense of humor, loves being at school and enjoys creating & making things with their hands.
Our class operates the Tidey Store which allows teens the cool responsibility of making purchases, organizing and marketing funky rubber ducks to our customers. In the process, they’ve gained academic skills, become more confident, are motivated by math and met awesome people who visit our classroom! I’m super proud of our special education students who work and play hard. We look forward to continued opportunities to sell their duck designs at sporting events, social events and during lunches. Every single special education student has a valuable role selling palm sized duck mascots at Concord High! We are QUACKERS over our duckies!
