My classroom's population is filled with a majority of our students coming from low income families and not having the opportunities of what some other students might enjoy.
It has been my absolute pleasure to teach them multimedia production and music skills to give them valuable marketable skills to help lift them out of poverty.
Our classroom works on projects instead of tests and essays. If a student is learning how to animate, they make an animation.
For example right now students are working on a class Lo-Fi album sampling a public domain audio book we will put on Spotify.
By working on real world projects with real audiences we make the work relevant to real life instead of just an exercise.
We appreciate all the help we receive from donors choose and it's generous donors to better these student's lives.
