Our school district will begin the school year 100% in-person which means social distancing 23 students in a very small classroom. Oh, and did I mention this is Kindergarten?!
New game plan! I have 5 round tables with 4 kids at each one, which will not work this year. My plan is to have 10 students sit on the floor with a lap desk (so cool!) and the other kiddos will be at the round tables (2 to a table). The students will be separated into two teams: Rangers & Campers. These two teams will rotate every day: Rangers at tables, Campers at the floor, then switch the next day. If given these resources, I will be able to use them for years to come for flexible seating too!
