My fourth graders attend a school in a middle working-class economic area. According to Donors Choose, our school is considered to be in a high poverty area, however it does not yet qualify for Title 1 funds. Our families are primarily working class. Although we have a very loving and caring environment, many of our families do not have extra money to give towards their school and classroom needs. This means that all of our fundraising efforts can't provide for all the needs we have in the 40+ classrooms in our school. Our school is a fantastic place to work and learn. We have very diverse students and classrooms. Our students love coming to school and growing in their knowledge. They are so proud with each skill they learn.
