Two of our students have strong sensory needs that they shall have a sensory break during the schoolday. This sensory space will provide them a calm space so they have a clear mind to continue their academic tasks.
Also these sensory activities contain some of our learning goals so that these items help them learn faster. When they use these sensory toys, they are also on their way learning, such as alphabets, math counting, and so fine motor skills.
For example, Melissa & Doug Alphabet Wooden Lacing Cards With Double-Sided Panels and Matching Laces will help them feel the textures of items and meet their sensory needs, therefore they will be more willing to follow directions to match and learn.
