Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. I am a special education teacher trying to increase self-esteem, motivation, and independence in the students that I teach. I have a personal connection to my job and the students I work with. My brother was a student who received special education services when he was in school. I strive to give my students everything I would have wanted my brother to receive. I am trying to bridge the gap between expectations and student achievement by finding tools to help my students be more successful. Through the work of Donors Choose and the generous donations I am able to provide my students with more opportunities to level the academic learning field and increase their success.
