Nothing makes a kid want to pick up a book and start reading more than having high-quality literature right there in front of them. Mounds of research has shown that students will read more when they are immersed in a culture of books and given the time for reading. And my students' classroom culture of reading is thriving.
But more beautiful, amazing stories are published every day. Help us to update our classroom library, and give my readers more amazing literature. The list of books has been curated to match the preferences of the readers in my class: from those "great new books" my voracious readers will devour, to some engaging graphic novels my most hesitant readers won't be able to resist. Thank you for your consideration in our project!
