My classroom is made up of gifted learners from very diverse backgrounds. I teach k-5 students in a gifted pull out program, meaning they come to me one day per week for the entire day. They are often bored with what is being taught in their general ed classroom and their gifted day is a day of challenging enrichment activities that allow them to be creative, research topics of their own choosing, and use critical and creative problem solving to tackle real-world problems. I have just over 100 students this year. Needless to say, I don't have all the needed materials to challenge this "special population" of learners. I see them as the future leaders of our world and hope that you can help them get the supplies needed to accomplish their goals.
