I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher, working with the PALS program. PALS stands for Preschool for All Learners and is an Early Childhood Special Education Program. Together we work on developing school-readiness skills in the six main areas of child development: Social-Emotional development, Cognitive development, Mathematical development, Language development, Literacy development, and Physical development. Students practice following classroom routines, attending group activities, play-skills, self-help skills, and are exposed to a language-rich environment. My students are silly and full of personality! They are eager little learners and challenge me everyday to bring my best to class! We work hard to be kindergarten ready, but have lots of fun getting there. My kiddos may be small (3 and 4 yrs) but everything else about them is larger than life!! And I'm so excited to be on this journey with them!!
