I work in a community with a high immigration population. 100% of the students in our district are part of the Free Breakfast and Lunch Program. Resources and learning experiences are limited, since a lot of families are new to this country. But they value education -- the students enjoy coming to school and appreciate the stability and structure of school life. It is my job to provide a safe environment for these children to learn and grow to their fullest potential. It is also my job to provide them with the resources and experiences that they might not have outside of school.
About my class
