My students are number one in the classroom. I think of the needs of my students every day and the ways I can help foster their learning. My class is made up of active boys and girls that would benefit from flexible seating. The flexible seating, wobble chairs, wobble cushions, bean bags, and stools, I have chosen would provide my students the ability to move and focus at the same time. Right now, my students have the option of standing at their table spot, sitting in their chair, or sitting or standing at a carpet spot on the floor. Flexible seating would give my students the choice on their own learning. Choice is motivating in the classroom, and providing my students with seating options is a choice I want to give them.
