I teach a filmmaking class, and we make films throughout the year. Recent global situations, it is making it tough to do this. Either student don't have the equipment or they can't gather. Providing a class set of iPads would help provide my students with an all-in-one device where they can shoot, edit, and submit their projects from the safety of their home. When they are done, they can turn them in, sanitize, and made available to a number of my other students. Filmmaking is unique because it allows each student to freely think, write, gather, plan, execute, shoot, and organize their thoughts and ideas. It requires the students to use a wide spectrum of skills in order to have an end product.
