Hello! My name is Mrs. Jones and I teach ESL in multiple grades at a high poverty school where a majority (something like 86%) of students qualify for free or reduced lunch! STUDENTS WHO CAN READ FLUENTLY AND COMPREHEND WHAT THEY CAN READ HAVE THE BEST CHANGE FOR SUCCESS! I SINCERELY BELIEVE THIS! I want to use Donors Choose to increase reading comprehension and technology usage in my ESL classes! Many students do not have a chance to use technology at home, such as computers or electronic learning devices. NOW THAT STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO TEST ON THESE THEY NEED MORE TIME TO USE AND PRACTICE ON THEM. Please consider helping me help my students have a better chance at success! I would appreciate any help you can give us!
