My class is filled with the most lovable kids you will ever meet. They are eager to learn and need the extra help you can give!
We need a color printer for our class.
It's a necessity in special ed! I print everything from behavior charts and communication boards to individual schedules and math center games. Printing in color make these items clearer to the students and teachers using them.
We are also in need of a working cash register. My students earn class dollars throughout the day and are learning to count and spend their money. Since they are in middle school, we are constantly talking about transition and what they are going to do after high school. Giving them this cash register will start to prepare them for a variety of jobs they could obtain after transitioning from school.
Finally, special ed means lots of wiggles. The sensory cushion will help one of my wiggliest students stay in their chair.
