These books (Hands-On Earth Science Activities and Hands on Science atmopshere) and kits will allow my students to have the materials they will need to succeed this school year in science. Hands on Earth and Science Activities and Hands on Science Atmosphere book will show my students different activities and experiments we can do in order to see where we get our water from and how pollutants end up in our water.
The Investigating the Effects of Pollutants in Soil kits will allow my students the proper tools to do investigations on the soil around us. Investigating the soil will allow us to see what types of chemicals we have in the soil and what rain washes into our drinking water.
Environmental Chemistry Acid Rain Weathering and Erosion will allow my students to see how erosion works around our location. How these sediments from rocks end up in our water system and how our lakes, rivers and buildings change over time from acid rain and constant movement of water.
The Solar system kits and models will allow my students to fully see how our solar system changes its weather and how seasons change. We can investigate how we loose water from evaporation in the hotter months because the Sun is closer to earth and how the Sun moves away in the Winter months allowing water to not evaporate as quickly.
All of these items will allow my students to get the full picture and the experience of experimenting how things change over time due to humans carbon footprint, and the effects of acid rain on our Earth.
