My students need 3 Ring View Binders, Scotch Book Tape, Pacon Card Stock, and other supplies to create in response to their reading. These supplies will allow my students to share their enthusiasm for reading and writing with our community. In my language arts classroom, my students respond to books in a variety of ways. They requires materials such as cardstock, tape, staplers, Sharpies, and markers to make posters and dioramas to share their love of a book. They also get inspired to write beautiful poetry and imaginative stories using fountain pens where they can display the cursive writing they are learning. All these materials will allow them to publish them in new and innovative ways. The binders will be used to create one central hub for all their language arts-related learning with sections for poetry, creative writing prompts, daily language review, and more. The binders will also allow my students to access their materials with ease. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these materials will foster excitement about books and learning in my students and encourage them to actively participate in our creative classroom.
