INNER CITY MINORITIES DESERVE ACCESS TO NEW TECHNOLOGY TO PROPEL THEM TO HIGHER LEARNING.
I teach AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Biology, and Environmental Science to 11th, and 12th grade students in a high-need school with many at-risk students from low income families.
I am embracing the digital age we are now living with. We can not get away from the fact that every generation from now on will be immersed in smart electronic devices and the internet. As an educator, I am determined to find ways to use technology in my classroom that will play to the strengths of my students. I have been successful with what I have so far, but more is needed.
Please assist me in keeping on the forefront of teaching and using technology properly to inspire and promote learning in my students.
