In our classroom you will find 15 hard-working students who look to find happiness every day! Chief Leschi Elementary is part of the Puyallup Tribe. The students in my classroom come from multiple different ethnic and cultural backgrounds with the Native American community. At school, it is my job to teach students how to process their emotions and master state and district expectations. My students love to move and be comfortable while they learn. I promote their active nature by dancing, moving, and exercising with them. Each day we learn something new, each day we explore the ways to make the world a better place, and each day I walk away knowing they are teaching me just as much as I teach them.
