I teach in a school with a high military population of over 40%, while other students come from a variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic status's.
My classroom is full of Kindergartners and First graders who range on a variety of levels and experiences: from those with no previous school experience to those who have traveled the world to those who may have one or both parents deployed at any given time.
My students are filled with questions about everything, wanting to know the hows, whats, and whys to it all. They are a wonderful group of students who are eager to learn and soak up all the knowledge they can. They are also beginning to learn how to work & create together, as well as become teammates through a year long process of learning and having fun!
