I have the sweetest and most incredible students. Keeping them comforted while safely meeting their basic needs in the classroom setting is my goal. Teacher Health Packs (one per classroom and field trip supply bag) will include band-aids, gauze, vaseline packets for dry lips, q-tips for application, a tooth-shaped necklace holder for younger children or a tooth envelope for older kids, an instant ice pack and an easily-sanitized container to hold the items. Can't forget a sticker for these brave kiddos in case of a cut or scrape. My heart wants every child in my school to have a resource like the happy and cheerful "comfort box" in their classroom to meet their basic health needs so they don't miss a moment of learning.
