The past year has devastated our schools and our students. I am choosing to look to a future when our students can return to the classroom. I know that it might be some time before our students are able to have live performances with an audience so I would like to do what I can to transform my classroom dance space into a performance venue that we can use to stream performances to family and friends until they are able to come see our students live.
By donating to this project you will help our students find a sense of normalcy in a world that is far from normal. We will use LED flood lamps in our classroom just as stage lighting would be used in a theater to create mood and special effect. Students will have the opportunity to learn about stage lighting in a lab environment and will then will be able to share that knowledge with their friends and family as we stream their hard work to friends and family.
