My second grade classroom is made up of students who predominately live in lower economic households. These young learners often face much chaos outside the classroom. Thus, family donations are rare and quite limited. Though I buy for the classroom out of my own teaching salary, the needs are too great. I hope to find partners who will help me create a warm, stable, and structured learning environment for these beautiful children who so desperately need a place where they can feel safe, comfortable and flourish.
