It's the little things that we need in our classroom such as crayons and paper to create our stories that we write. It's the little things like an easel for the teacher that is going to help us learn better in whole group during reading with our phonics program called ABC Bootcamp (the reason for chart paper). Maybe one day, we will ask DonarsChoose.org for the fancy flexible seating and iPads, but right now, we are trying to get the basic supplies that are needed for our classroom. This will be my third year teaching and I've noticed the supplies do not come in at the beginning of the year as planned so these supplies will be used daily, especially the tissue.
Note to self: Never run out of tissue paper in a kindergarten classroom.
Like I previously said, we just need the little things because sometimes, they matter the most.
Thank you for donating!
