Our classroom is located in a small rural town in a farming community in Northern California. We have a diverse population that includes English Language Learners and we believe in full inclusion. Our classroom is made up of high-achieving students to those with delicate needs. Most of our students take the bus each day from a neighboring town. In our classroom, we follow 4 principles: Show Respect, Make Good Choices, Solve Problems, and Be Kind.
As their sixth grade teacher, I make it my mission to create life-changing experiences for my students. I want them to want to come to school every single day by creating engaging lessons and real-life experience. We value relationships, just as much as we value academics.
In our classroom, we celebrate and support differences. We understand that everyone learns differently and understand that we need to be tolerant and accepting of other's needs in the classroom.
