The wobble cushions and floor seats will provide the students with options and choices. It will also assist me with differentiating to meet all my students needs. As a special education teacher, I understand the importance of providing students with the tools and resources needed to help them become successful learners, while embracing their different learning styles.
I am working in a low-economic community in the Bronx. For example, last year during my student teaching, some students went the entire year without sheets for their cots. This project will provide students with important items and materials that will help support them during their first year of school. It will also allow me to use my own money to buy snacks for students and other items needed throughout the year.
