My kindergarten students sit on the rug during lessons and I use a whiteboard easel to demonstrate lessons, hold big books and model writing. Our current easel is broken and stained. Our big books slide through the slats and the wooden tray often falls off.
The new magnetic whiteboard easel is slightly bigger, unstained and sturdy. This would allow all students to clearly see what is being demonstrated. Having a place to set the big book is a necessity, as I read to my students every day. With the whiteboard also being magnetic, it will allow me to use different, colorful and engaging manipulatives. Overall, the students are here to learn and a new easel will help me to reach more students in a fun and engaging way.
