Thanks to a generous grant from our school leadership team, my class has been awarded the honor of becoming one of three model one-to-one iPad pilot classrooms for our school, and my students are fired up about leading the way into the world of customized mobile learning. Already fairly savvy digital learners, having shared five iPads among classmates this past year, they are ready to harness the power of individualized digital learning. This possibility is even more meaningful for these students, as many do not have access to technology at home. For some, experience with real-world technology will only happen in our classroom. Here, they will not only learn how to create, collaborate, investigate, and discover; they will learn how to safely navigate the wide world of online learning, successfully develop their own digital footprints, and become responsible 21st century digital citizens. However, for this program to be successful, protective iPad cases are essential.

About my class
