This project will permit my students to use a treadmill while working in our computer lab. I was already able to procure a standing desk for one of the workstations, now we need a treadmill to make it complete. Walking while we work will enable students to get some aerobic activity while working at a traditionally sedentary task. Improving blood circulation while working is a fantastic way to not only boost creativity (which is very important), but also improve stamina. As students prepare for their futures, it would be great if learning to exercise (walking) while using a computer is part of that preparation.
