It is my goal to provide fun, challenging and new opportunities for students in math to be successful. My students are 7th and 8th grade middle school math students. Our school is a 5th through 8th grade public school. We are located in a beautiful, rural area.
Currently, acquiring technology and other resources that can be kept and used in the classroom is limited due to a decrease in educational funding. Direct access to new resources will support and enhance classroom lessons, as well as create additional opportunities to meet diverse student needs.
Our students need to have opportunities and resources to develop strong foundational math skills, as well as technology skills. My math students tell me that they are excited to learn about, care for and utilize technology and math related resources. Students need to constantly see themselves and their peers gaining, inspiring and sharing knowledge.
