Welcome to the world of Reading! I am Alma Moore, the lucky educator of 5th grade Reading Teacher at Anahuac Elementary School! I have a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds to be successful. My philosophy of teaching is that every child deserves the best education possible and I work very hard to ensure that 100% of my students are successful. I use a metacognitive approach to teaching that stretches students minds to engage them in learning and to make them accountable for their learning. Teaching is my passion and I believe that my passion for education is shared with my students as each and everyday they strive to be successful in my class and apply the knowledge that they are learning to everyday concepts in their own personal lives.
