Hello, I am a first year teacher teaching Math to seventh grade students. I teach students in a high poverty, high risk, high need school. Many of our students are learning English as a second language, and many have below grade level language skills. Our building is old and has not been updated, and we don't have many resources. In spite of this, our school community is full of pride and the belief that our school family is more than the wall and limited resources around us. My goal is to bring back excitement into a math classroom.
