RMS is experiencing a Drama Club at their school for the very first time this year. Good quality sound versus bad quality sound can make or break a theatrical performance. A new PA sound system will make our rendition of The Wizard of Oz this Spring, one that they will always remember, in a positive way. We recently performed in our Black History Program using a poor quality sound system. It was a good experience for them, but having a comparable sound system would have been better.
Overall, dramatic education is an important means of stimulating creativity in problem solving. It can challenge students' perceptions about their world and about themselves. Dramatic exploration can provide students with an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and dreams that they might not otherwise have means to express. A student can, if only for a few moments, become another, explore a new role, try out and experiment with various personal choices and solutions to very real problems-problems from their own life, or problems faced by characters in literature or historical figures.
Be apart of this experience by helping me provide our students with a new PA Sound system, giving them a performance they will never forget!
