My students are a diverse group of learners in kindergarten through 5th grade who receive special education services across multiple settings, including self-contained classrooms and resource support. I serve a caseload of nearly 40 students with a wide range of needs, including Autism, speech and language delays, ADHD/ADD, emotional and behavioral needs, and other learning disabilities. I support students in a kindergarten Autism/self-contained classroom, 1st–5th self-contained classrooms, and general education settings. The resources in my classroom are shared across all environments to ensure students have consistent supports throughout their day. Many of my students are working on communication, self-regulation, social skills, and independence. With the right supports, they are able to engage, grow, and succeed in meaningful ways.
