My with developmental delays (primarily autism). Although my students have speech/language, social, and self-help skill needs, their differences from do not inhibit their desires to explore, play and create, just like other 4 year-olds. They love to explore their classroom and outdoor environment, engage in pretend play, and create art, wooden block bridges, and pool noodle towers.
