These iPads will be used in many ways within our classroom. For starters, every morning in small group math they will be used as one of our stations to reinforce or enhance the skill that is currently being taught. Next, the iPads will be used during language arts for students to independently read leveled text, respond to the readings, and respond to their peers. During content, our city has adopted Discovery Education and the iPads would be used as one of the centers. Finally, all of these things would be recorded within the students digital portfolios with the app Seesaw! As you can see these iPads would be used on a daily basis from the moment the students walked in the door to the moment they left the building, thus helping them close the gap and learn these vital 21st century skills!
