Pineville Junior High School is a public school of the Rapides Parish School District located in Pineville, LA. It has a population of around 600 students in grades 7th and 8th. Our school is very fortunate to offer a variety of electives, such as visual arts. I am an art teacher who is transferring from two other schools in an effort to build a new art program at PJH. In this program, students will be able to create, present, respond and connect to others through visual arts. Students will learn about the elements and principles of art as well as explore art history.
