We are serious mathematicians in our class. We are constantly calculating and collaborating in order to solve problems. Having the flexibility to move around will make our day easier. My students love being able to have the ability to go from sitting to standing within seconds. The problem we run into is that our chairs get in the way. For safety reasons, stools would be so much more helpful because we can tuck them under our desks as we move from sitting to standing. We would then be able to move from group to group without tripping over chairs.
We are math problem solvers! We calculate so much that we use a lot of paper. How awesome would it be to just simply calculate on the dry-erase table! I envision my students being able to do calculations on their tabletops, it will help us not only solve our math problems, but we are also going green and helping our environment!
