I teach visual art and vocal music at two elementary schools in Long Beach, California. I see about 800 TK through 5th grade students for classes, and two 4th and 5th grade choruses. The students are a diverse community, and over half are from low-income households. Art and music are some of their favorite activities, and I love seeing the things they achieve in my classes.
