CHROME BOOKS: INDIVIDUALIZED KNOWLEDGE AT OUR FINGERTIPS......... My students need to be able to practice daily for 30-40 minutes on a computer. Students are now expected to test on the computer. They need time to practice keyboarding skills while researching and accessing online components of our math, language arts, social studies, science and writing programs. I have 3 chrome books in my classroom. One day a week is about all the access my students can get on an individual basis. I am eager for each child to have access to a chrome book more frequently. I have experienced enough with the chrome books to know that the learning possibilities are endless. I am anxious and determined to make this possible. I have seen such a huge difference watching my students motivation level and academic progress increase because of how engaging chromebooks are.
