My students are a fantastic group of hardworking middleschoolers who live in the inner city in a high poverty area. Our school is a Title One school, with about 65% of students qualified for free and reduced lunch.
In seventh grade science we are studying many branches of science including Earth and Space Science, Human Biology, Ecosystems, Genetics, and Natural Selection.
In sixth, seventh and eighth grade robotics we are using the engineering design process and studying simple machines, mechanical design, basic CAD and 3D printing, EV3 Robotics, coding, and computational thinking.
