Our class is a part of an school district set in urban area. My students consists of preschoolers age 3-5 with various special needs such as: autism, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities and other physical developmental delays. I currently have seven boys, but I have the potential for growth throughout the school year and a full caseload consists of eleven. Due to the urban setting in which we are located, funding is always an issue and this year we are in desperate need of some Dramatic Play items. The addition of costumes and other toys in the classroom will help to spark imagination and creativity that will increase the expressive and receptive language as well as social skills of my students.
