My classroom is full of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who come from around the world, representing El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Algeria, Nigeria, and beyond. These emerging bilinguals come to our school with a wide variety of English proficiency, literacy, academic knowledge, educational experience, and background. My goal is to create a strong community of students who embrace their multilingualism and grow into strong, compassionate, and creative citizens.

About my class
