In this course, students study how marine ecosystems work. My students learn how the ocean is the source of oxygen, life, and mystery.
Learning works best when it is hands-on, and my students create and manage fish tanks with a variety of vertebrate and invertebrate specimens, native to our local waters .
The animals are treated humanely, and students get great joy from taking care of these creatures.
Pease help, our tanks fared terribly during the pandemic, as we were not permitted in the building. The students are excited to have life in the classroom again.
